Star foward Blake Griffin Olympic run is cut short after he was went home to Los Angeles because he was having discomfort in his left knee something he's been battling since the end of the NBA season. Blake is scheduled to have a MRI on Sunday and then be re-evaluated by Dr. Neal of the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic.
Blake has been diagnosed with a torn menicus in his left knee and is supposed to have surgery some time next week.
Unfortunately, Griffin will not be playing in the 2012 Olympic games and in his place will be first overall pick in the NBA draft Anthony Davis who got the first call to come meet the team in Vegas for their first Exhibition game.
