The 2012 session of the New York State Legislature is scheduled to conclude on June 21. This means that there are just 10 days left to make sure our state is giving over one million New Yorkers with disabilities and special needs the protection and justice they deserve.

The Governor's proposed Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs puts into place the strongest standards and practices for protecting people with special needs in the nation. If this legislation doesn't get passed before session's end, New Yorkers statewide will have to wait another year for justice.
