The first promotional shot from producer, rapper, and actor RZA’s directorial debut, The Man With the Iron Fists, has hit the net. RZA and Hostel and Cabin Fever director, Eli Roth have been working hard on the $20 million production.

The film was shot in China at the beginning of last year, and has a star-studded lineup in Russell Crowe, Lucy Liu, Jamie Chung, Pam Grier, Dave Batista, RZA, and a number of high-profile martial arts stars from Asia like Chia Hui Liu, Rick Yune, Ka-Yan Leung, and Kuan Tai Chen. RZA plays a blacksmith who is tasked with defending his village in feudal China.

A theatrical trailer for The Man With the Iron Fists, which is being produced by Roth and Academy Award-winning director Quentin Tarantino, is expected to be released later this week.

This will be RZA and Crowe’s third film collaboration, following the release of 2007′s American Gangster and 2010′s The Next Three Days. RZA will next be seen as Blind Master in G.I. Joe: Retaliation, and is also rumored to have an unspecified role in Tarantino’s Django Unchained, which will be released on Christmas Day. Check out the trailer below!
