DJ Spynfo has been grinding way before he made the roster here at HOT 97.  He's been making his rounds on the club and college circuits and building one of the most reputable open mic showcases in the city.  Mic Check Wednesdays provides a platform for rappers, singers, comedians and poets to get exposure to industry big wigs.  You never know who is in the crowd at Mic Check and yesterday, attendees learned the true menaing of that statement.  J. Cole came through to explain the importance of these showcases and how they helped propel his career and he spit some ish called "Chaining Day".  Watch the video below.
