Join the U.S Army MWR in association with C.A.M.M.O and Mission One Voice to salute our troops at an independence day celebration Sunday, July 1st at the USAG Fort Hamilton base in Brooklyn NY. See performances by Estelle, (Eddie Money, Canaan Smith, Tommy Stabley) and more. The night will close with a spectacular fireworks display by Grucci. Gates open at 4:30, show time is at 6PM and ADMISSION IS FREE WITH REGISTRATION AT www.missiononevoice.com

Held at the newly dedicated SGT Deon Taylor Ball Fields, service members of all branches, retirees, veterans, first responders (NYPD & FDNY), DOD/DHS civilians, general public and their families will enjoy a day dedicated to the sacrifices our heroes in uniform make. Active duty service members (to include National Guard and Reserve) will have access for a personal meet and greet that afternoon. This event is also a special tribute to a unit deploying for Afghanistan on July 2nd. Event is rain or shin. Those wishing to attend must have a valid identification, such as a driver's license or passport to gain entry- no exceptions (Fort Hamilton Security).  It is highly recommended that guests arrive by public transportation because there will be limited parking available. blankets and chairs are permitted as there is no seating on event grounds.
