The HOT 97 Experience Tour provides guests with unprecedented access to the world’s most recognizable hip-hop radio brand. This unforgettable tor features a behind-the-scenes look at the people and places responsible for the HOT 97
Overview
Since April 2009, HOT 97 has offered this Unforgettable tour that takes you through the halls and into the studios of HOT 97. An HOT 97 Promotion Assistant will be your guide to the world of HOT 97. The first stop on the tour you will learn about the early days at HOT 97 and the business of radio. Your HOT 97 Promotion Assistant will also take you inside the production studio to check out the world of HOT 97 sound effect techniques, commercials and recorded promo’s.
It is very important to note studio visibility is limited to only those studios not being used at the time. Typically, one to two studios are available for viewing, however that is not guaranteed. Further, spotting HOT 97 talent is also very rare but not impossible.
HOT 97 was born in 1992 and has been the premiere outlet for the hottest music and news in the Hip Hop and R&B community for 17 years. HOT 97 has become a nationally recognized brand spawning a number of sister stations across the country. DJ Funkmaster Flex, arguably the face of the franchise, leads a world-renowned roster of on-air personalities and DJ’s who have become celebrities well beyond HOT 97’s walls.
