TIME Magazine announced this morning that they have chosen President Barack Obama as Person of the Year 2012. The president had tough competition as his opponents included some of the world’s most noted names in business, science and politics. Among those in the running were, Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani activist who was shot in the head by the Taliban for advocating for girls' right to education; Tim Cook, CEO of Apple; Bill and Hillary Clinton for global humanitarian and political activism, and many more. The president also received the title back in 2008.
Congratulations President Obama!
