Chicago up-and-comers Mick Jenkins and Supa Bwe collab on the heavy “Treat Me (Caucasian)”, which speaks on white privilege and the realities of unequal access to opportunity. Supa and Mick demand respect and equal treatment as individuals of great potential that have had to create opportunities themselves.
Mick Jenkins jumped into the national spotlight after his “Martyrs” music video blew up on Worldstar and now has the internet buzzing in anticipation for his debut album The Water[s], slated to drop this summer. “Treat Me” is a single off of the forthcoming “Hurt Everybody” EP from Supa Bwe’s three-man collective Hurt Everybody, which is set to drop July 4th. Check out the track below and keep an eye out for projects from both of these talented young artists.
