We're not sure if this was helping or hurting Rihanna's case, but Uncle Russey came to Rihanna's aid in a recent blog post. Last week Chris Brown and Drake [both madly in love with Rihanna at one point] dissed her. Both men called her an industry jump in a round about way. Meanwhile, both have publically dated strippers while Drake can't NOT mention a chick's government on every other track he's on. Nonetheless, the guys got sloppy and came for Rihanna and Russle Simmons is setting a few people straight below. Read on but before you read the letter, check out what both guys said:
Chris Brown on Way Too Cold [Freestyle]
Don’t f**k with my old b-tch it’s like a bad fur Every industry n***a done had her Shook the tree like a pumpkin just to smash her B-tch is breaking codes, but I’m the password
Drake on No Lie with 2 Chainz
She came through, she brought food/She got f—ed, she knew wassup /She think I’m the realest out /And I say “damn, that makes two of us” /Oh that look like what’s her name /Chances are it is whats her name /Chances are, if she was acting up /Then I f–ked her once and never f—ed again /She could have a Grammy, I still treat that *ss like a nominee /Just need to know what that p—y like so one time, it’s fine with me”
Russell Simmons' Letter:
There have been a lot of artists recently talking about “good girl gone bad,” Rihanna. As far as I’m concerned, I don’t see why everyone has their panties up in a bunch. It’s just that she is out there allegedly f*ckin’ the rockstars of her dreams and you out there fuckin’ groupies. You can’t be mad that she was seen walking out of Ashton Kutcher’s house late one night, cause you know if you were seen walking out of Adriana Lima’s house late one night, you would be in the studio the next day rapping about it. I mean, you all got like 50 girls in your videos drooling over you and you dissing Rihanna? I can’t blame a girl for being independent, having fun and living her life the way she wants to. I am certainly not condoning indiscriminate sex, but don’t get mad cause the girl…
Remember, I was a manager once and I have seen these types of young men on the road. I was with Run-DMC, the Beastie Boys, LL Cool J, Public Enemy, Whoodini and saw all of the girls after the show line up outside the dressing rooms. I mean, Whoodini even wrote a song about, “I Am A H*e” and went on to rap, “I rock three different girls after every show.” So, I know how this shit works. You all got 10 times as many girls as Rihanna has men, and you know that. I love you guys, and this certainly ain’t a diss, but I gotta keep it real.
What do you think about this whole Rihanna being a pop off situation? Are we buying it? Where is the evidence?
