Jay-z on NY Times Criticism "...Don't Let Anyone Diminish Your Accomplishments"
The NY Times recently published criticism regarding Jay-Z's Nets ownership percentage:
Mr. Ratner may have thought he was getting little more than a limited partner with a boldface name and a youthful following that could prove useful someday. But Jay-Z’s contributions have dwarfed the $1 million he invested nine years ago. His influence on the project has been wildly disproportionate to his ownership stake — a scant one-fifteenth of one percent of the team. And so is the money he stands to make from it.. – The New York Times
Jay-Z decided to take matters into his own hands by publicly debunking the allegations on the third show of his sold out show at the Barclays center last night. "I see them talking, eh you know he's one-fifteenth of one. First of all, I don't where they get that number from, but I'm cool with it. I know it's not about me, it's about ya'll..." Hov then goes on to rock out to his '04 smash hit "99 Problems”. How appropiate! Check out the video about for the full compassionate speech.
