Boxing Legend Hector 'Macho' Camacho Declared Brain Dead [PHOTO]

The family of Puerto Rican boxing legend Hector 'Macho' Camacho has made the decision to remove the former fighter from life support after doctors declared him brain dead earlier today.

According to TMZ, the family is now beginning to organize funeral arrangements.

Camacho was shot mutliple times in the face and neck while sitting in the passenger seat of the car outside of a bar Tuesday night. The driver, Adrian Mojica Moreno was killed in the attack.

According to sources police found 10 small bags of cocaine in the car, nine which was found in Moreno's pocket and one in the car.

Camacho is best known for his successful boxing career, and his unusual antics before he entered the ring. He is a former super lightweight, lightweight, and junior welterweight world champion throughout his career.

He ended his career with a record of 79-6-3 including fights with Felix Trinidad, Sugar Ray Leonard, and Julio Cesar Chavez.
