Brooklyn Nets Agree To Major Trade!!

The Brooklyn Nets, looking to improve their roster the first year away from New Jersey has agreed on a trade with the Atlanta Hawks for shooting guard Joe Johnson

According to Chris Broussard of ESPN.com the trade will officially take Brooklyn out of the running for Dwight Howard, who expressed his willingness to join Brooklyn over the weekend.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports said the trade as proposed includes Jordan Williams, Johan Petro, Jordan Farmar, Anthony Morrow, a sign-and-trade deal with DeShawn Stevenson and the 2013 protected first round pick the Nets received from the Houston Rockets.

The Nets made their first move of the off season this weekend when they agreed to sign Gerald Wallace to a four year, 40 million dollar contract.

Point guard Deron Williams is reportedly meeting with Brooklyn officials today, to help determine where he will be playing next year.

Dwight Howard is now being rumored to be traded to either the Los Angeles Lakers or Houston Rockets.
