Happy Birthday Aaliyah! The singer would have celebrated her 34th birthday today.

It has been 11 years since the young entertainer was killed in a plane crash, along with eight others, after filming the music video "Rock the Boat." It was a devastating loss of a young artist that was just coming into her own. Celebrities who were close to her tweeted in honor of her birthday.

Timbaland tweeted:

“Happy Birthday to the beautiful Aaliyah! Our angel ... Never forgotten!" along with a link to Aaliyah’s music video for the hit song, "4 Page Letter.”
