Beyoncé Opens Up About Blue Ivy & Father In Vogue Magazine [PHOTOS]

The 17 time Grammy award winner put herself back in the spotlight by covering Vogue Magazine's cover for March 2013.

Jason Gay spent a day with the singer as he dug inside what it was like to be a superstar, a mother, and a wife to one of the biggest music stars in the world Jay-Z.

She finally got a chance to open up about her birth and pregnancy to the journalist by saying,

“My family and my closest people were there when I gave birth.” “Everything that scared me just was not present in that room. So for me to really let go and really appreciate every contraction . . . it was the best day of my life.”

Mrs. Carter also opened up about her feelings for her husband Jay-Z during the interview.

“Just knowing someone’s always going to be honest and tell the truth, [who] can understand exactly what I’m going through—and I can understand exactly what he’s going through.”

The article gives a good insight into a day in the life of Beyoncé and is a perfect prelude to her documentary Life Is But A Dream, which will be aired this Saturday at 9pm on HBO.
