Floyd "Money" Mayweather Signs Contract With Showtime

Floyd Mayweather may not have fought a meaningful fight in a couple years, but he is still racking in the money.

The fighter has decided to sign a six fight contract with Showtime/CBS to air and promote his future fights for the next 30 months.

Terms for the contract have not been released yet, but it is believed that the deal may be the biggest ever handed out in boxing.

“Money” Mayweather will have his first fight on Showtime May 4 against Robert Guerrero at the MGM Grand.

Before this, the reigning Welterweight champion fought the majority of his career on HBO.
