Amy Winehouse Documentary Set To Hit Theaters Featuring Unseen Footage of Late Singer [PHOTO]

A new documentary about Amy Winehouse is set to hit theaters soon. Although the film has yet to be given a title, sources say really special unseen footage of the late singer will be in the documentary. This should be very interesting, but extremely sad. British director Asif Kapadia is working closely with producer James Gay-Rees on this special project.

"Amy was a once-in-a-generation talent who captured everyone's attention. She wrote and sung from the heart and everyone every fell under her spell," the director and producer said in a joint statement.

The troubled singer tragically died in 2011 at the age of 27 from alcohol poisoning.
