City Removes Big Pun 'Big Pun Pl' Street Sign [PHOTO]

Big Pun 'Stan', Shane Rossi, used zip ties to rename E. 163rd St. and Longwood Ave. in the Bronx. On the eve of Big Pun's 14th anniversary, Rossi thought he pay homage to the first latino rapper to sell more than a million records. The Department of Transportation took the sign down, Rossi reacts "My Whole premise was to not disrespect anyone".

Big Pun was not the only street sign that was shot down by The Department of Transportation. Community boards were against honoring Beastie Boys & Notorious B.I.G.
