Since Angie Martinez hit the airwaves, she has dominated the afternoon drive slot in New York City. Angie began her career as an intern at HOT97 and has since earned her way to become one of hip hop's most respected voices. 

Known as “The Voice of New York,” Angie has become the "go to" person for important interviews. This year The Angie Martinez show had visits from Kim Kardashian, Amare Stoudemire, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and countless other entertainment heavyweights. When asked for her most memorable interview, Angie recalls President Barack Obama officially recognizing her as “The Voice of New York.”

In addition to radio, Angie has released two albums, appeared in several films and television shows and was one of the faces of CoverGirl’s Queen Collection campaign.
