HOT 97 is takin’ to the streets and into the communities with an exciting new monthly event.  Each month HOT 97’s basketball team will take on the Police Athletic League (PAL) staff at a different school or PAL gyms. The HOT 97 team includes our on-air personalities, mixers, other air staff, and HOT 97 celebrity friends. The schools and facilities welcome these spirited visits, which encourage community participation and pride, as well as, aide in program development.   Each game is also a PAL fundraiser with a $5 admission fee. The participating schools and facilities keep 100% of the monies collected and are able to use it for improvements, supplies, and activities for their centers .
