The NBA has announced that the 2015 All-Star game will be held in New York. The only choice is whether it will be held at the Barclays Center or legendary Madison Square Garden.

Commissioner David Stern made the announcement during All-Star weekend, and the two teams will now fight to become hosts of the event.

All kinds of sports are looking at the area to host their biggest sporting events these next two years with WWE bringing Wrestlemania, and the NFL bringing the Super Bowl to the Meadowlands.

An official decision will be announced within the next year, when all the checkpoints are assessed.

New York last played host to the All-Star Game in 1998 at Madison Square Garden.
