If you havent already heard- there is more bad news for Paula Deen.

The celebrity chef has been dropped by Smithfield Foods, the global pork producing company; in the wake of using the N-word last week.

The company made a statement saying "Smithfield condemns the use of offensive and discriminatory language and behavior of any kind," "Therefore, we are terminating our partnership with Paula Deen. Smithfield is determined to be an ethical food industry leader and it is important that our values and those of our spokespeople are properly aligned."

The 66 year old recently released a series of apology videos through YouTube and addressed Matt Lauer and the"Today" show on the incident.

In addition to The Food Network, Deen holds a contract with QVC as well. The shopping channel said that it was reviewing the business relationship with her and had no immediate plans to have her on air.

However, Paula has contracts with retailers such as Wal-Mart, JC Penney, Sears and Target stated that the company is exploring next steps as they pertain to Ms. Deen’s products and is evaluating the situation.
