Not everyone loves Snoop! The charismatic rapper has faced protest by a women’s organization called the Collective Shout. The organization was hoping to stop his scheduled tour date to Australia, because they say his music “glorifies violence against women.” The group went as far as trying to have his work/visa permit revoked, and deny his entry into the country;however, the judge shot that down. Now that Snoop got the green light he will continue with his plans of co-headlining the Big Day Out Festival with dates in the Gold Coast, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, and Perth. In addition to Snoop Dogg, the Collective Shout organization has also attempted to prevent 2 Chainz and Tyler, The Creator from performing in Australia as well
This organization has also attempted to shut down
tour dates for 2 Chainz and Tyler The Creator as well.
