If Nas isn't tripping over not winning a Grammy after being nominated 13 times, No one needs to.

Nas was asked about the Grammy snub at the screening and panel of VH1's upcoming documentary The Tanning Of America: One Nation Under Hip Hop. Arguably one of Hip Hop's best lyricist said "I like that the Grammys nominated me" he adds " I know the hugest platform for music is the Grammys, it matters... but something that huge is never going to get it right. So its OK. I gives me an opportunity to wear a nice suit and tie" Reports Page Six.

He shares his view on the state of hip hop "As far as the state of rap music, its a lot of jingles.... and thats cool...I see a lot of black kids making money and I am very happy about that."

Its kind of sad Queensbridge very own Nas has to refer to rap songs as "Jingles".
