When Iggy Azalea heard the beat, produced by Irv Gotti, Reefa and 12 Keyz for Keyshia Coles 'The Other Woman'Soundtrack, Iggy said she had another song in mind.
"I'm from a generation where I don't think 'I'm Coming Out,'" she says in an interview with MTV. "I'm thinking 'Mo Money Mo Problems.' I'm 23. That's what I think about. I was like, 'I need to get my Ma$e on, get my Diddy on.' I went with that vibe, so when people heard it, they said, 'She's doing the Biggie remix.'"
"I really don't care," Azalea replies. "Come on, though. I love Biggie forever, and Tupac, but that's a sampled song. So, don't be mad about something that's sampled already. That's not an original thing. So, don't be mad about that."
We guess she wanted something authentic, but we'll always love big poppa!
