Things are going from bad to worse for Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, who is still facing the repercussions of the physical altercation he had with estranged wife and reality star Evelyn Lozada. The former Dolphins football player has officially been charged with misdemeanor battery for alledgedly headbutting Lozada during an argument. The spat reportedly stemmed from Lozada finding a receipt for a box of condoms. On Wednesday, the State Attorney for Broward County, Fla., filed the charge against Johnson. If he is convicted he faces up to one-year in jail. According to NBC: "On Thursday, Johnson will file a written plea of not guilty. The process then will unfold via a series of hearings culminating in a trial, absent a plea deal or a decision by the authorities to not prosecute the case." Johnson is doing everything in his power to win his wife back. TMZ reports that he is refusing to sign divorce papers, and he even tattooed Lozada's face on his right leg.
