Rapper Soulja Boy is facing a lawsuit stemming from a car accident that occurred earlier this summer. He is also facing a defamation suit as well. TMZ first broke the story that driver Bobbiye Sullinger and passenger Herman Flowers are suing Soulja Boy for allegedly crashing his Bentley into their car. The two are seeking medical expenses, property damage and loss of income. Furthermore, Sullinger and Flowers are taking the rapper to court for defamation. After the accident, Soulja Boy posted a YouTube video where he called Sullinger a racist because allegedly Sullinger accused him of stealing the Bentley he was driving. Sullinger claims that the viral video has since negatively impacted her career and her reputation.

Soulja Boy is no stranger to the courtroom. In 2007, he was sued for the use of his stage name "Souljah Boy". In 2009 he was arrested in Atlanta for running from the police when he was ordered to stop filming a music video in an abandoned home. Last year, he was arrested when cops found five ounces of marijuana in his vehicle.
