If you weren't around for the bus on illegally downloaded music, than this story will catch your eyes, ears and laptops. Take Japan for example. The country is going full fledge with its fight against illegal downloads.
Originally put into effect back in 2010, the Japanese government has decided to put some action behind their words. The crime for any illegal download is 2 years in prison and a fine of $25,700.
This law applies to a person who has at least one illegal download. So imagine if you have more than one. Japanese law enforcement hope that they will start a trend that will have other countries participate in the fight against piracy.
