After much speculation about Bobbi Kristina Brown's controversial relationship with "adopted brother"-turned-boyfriend Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kris has confirmed rumors of their engagement. The announcement appears in a new promo for the forthcoming Lifetime reality TV series, "The Houstons: On Our Own," starring Whitney Houston's daughter with ex-husband Bobby Brown.

"We're engaged," Bobbi,  announces to her family between giggles.

Bobbi Kristina's aunt Pat Houston calls the engagement "unacceptable," while her uncle Gary told Gordon, "No one knew that from a God son, you would turn into a boyfriend. No one knew that." The show debuts on Lifetime on October 24 at 9 p.m.
