Janet Jackson Demands 'Vanity Fair' Retract Story About Her Putting Michael Jackson's Funeral On Hold For Money

In the November 2012 issue of Vanity Fair, a article was released accusing the late Michael Jackson baby sis, Janet Jackson of post-poning his funeral until she was reimbursed in the amount of $40,000 for securing his plot.  I can imagine how Janet feels after having heard about  or reading this article and because of the article her attorney is seemingly upset!

Jackson's lawyer wrote a letter to the popular magazine's Editor-in-Chief Graydon Carter and demanded retraction of the article.  He says the story defames Ms. Jackson's character and is completely false, according to lawyer Blair Brown.  Brown makes it clear that her client didn't delay the funeral in no way and was reimbursed a year after the services.

We all know how much Janet loved her big brother.  I don't believe she would do this especially because of the bond they shared growing up and within their musical careers. They were very close.

People can be so cruel. Why can't they just leave the Jackson family alone?
