Emanuel Steward, famous, legendary boxer trainer, has been confirmed dead at the age of 68. 

The family of Steward has confirmed his death and recalls how strong he has been saying "he fought harder than Hagler and Hearns". The 68-year-old had been battling an illness that was unknown for months now.  Stewards family has asked for privacy in this matter.

Steward has worked alongside some of the greatest in boxing including Thomas Hearns, Lennox Lewis, Oscar De La Hoya and Wladimir Klitschko.
