Raised in the Irvington-Newark area of New Jersey, Bobby Trends DJ’d locally at numerous high schools, colleges and house parties. Trends got his start in the NY club scene opening for Cipha Sounds and Funkmaster Flex. Proving his ability to rock a party, he started headlining his own gigs all over NYC. Simultaneously, he hit the mixtape scene hard with a suc- cessful series of CDs hosted by artists like 50 Cent, G-Unit, Dipset and D-Block. Soon Trends was invited to join the The Big Dawg Pitbulls.

Leveraging his experience and exposure in the NY club scene and in the mixtape arena, Trends developed an expertise in marketing and promotion. He launched his company, TRENDSLIFE, organizing events featuring artists like Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, Diddy, Swizz Beatz and Rick Ross, as well as numerous NBA and NFL players. Trends has performed in all the major markets nationally and internationally including Africa, Europe and Asia. After much hard work, Bobby Trends became part of the team at HOT 97. It didn’t stop there. Bobby Trends toured with Jim Jones, Lil’ Kim and Busta Rhymes and has DJ’d for the NY Knicks at Madison Square Garden. He has been featured on NBC, BET, MTV, ESPN and SPIKE TV. Trends also gives back to the com- munity participating in numerous events benefiting youth and world health.
