Having a safe and dependable water supply has become almost second nature for Americans. But, with changing times, comes a greater need to secure that supply. Since 9/11/01, water utilities have increased their focus on securing our nation’s water supply. Major improvements have been made in physical security, monitoring, and emergency response. However, it’s the public that can play a key role in keeping water safe.
