Cocoa started as a MC and was put on to DJing by her brother at age 14, but her big break came when she landed a weekly spot on BET's "Teen Summit" as the first-ever BET resident DJ.

She continues to break barriers, being the first female DJ to land on MTV's highest-rated show, Spring Break. She's also proud of being listed in Vibe as one of the top 17 DJs in the country.
