DJ Big Ben

Hailing from Brooklyn by way of Uptown, Big Ben is a leading name in the New York City club circuit. Ben was inspired to be a DJ by his older brother who was a disco DJ. Ben DJ’d his first club at the age of 14. At 19, he broke into the NYC club scene, where he caught the attention of some of the most exclusive party promoters and record label reps.

Before he knew it, Ben was playing for up- scale crowds and celebrities all over the country and the world. Big Ben has hit up major cities and toured with Angie Martinez as her DJ/hype man, as well as with The Backstreet Boys and O-Town. Ben was approached by DJ Enuff (who then made him a Heavy Hitter), and with the blessing of Funkmaster Flex, Ben was offered the opportunity to become a HOT 97 mixer.
