DJ Envy DJ Envy, a Queens native, first started making a name for himself in mixtapes while in high school. After six years of hustling, Envy finally won recognition at Justo's Annual Mixtape Awards, where he is a two-time winner.
In 2003, Envy released a Sony/Desert Storm Records debut album, “The Desert Storm Mixtape: DJ Envy-Blok Party, Vol. 1,” which featured stars like Jay-Z, Busta Rhymes and Birdman.
Envy currently serves as President and CEO of BLOK Entertainment, his own management and production company that has already produced scorching tracks for artists such as DMX, Murderers, Funk Flex, Foxy Brown, Juvenile, Petey Pablo, Fabolous, and more. As if that's not enough, he's just dropped his second album under Blok Entertainment. Now an experienced radio, club, and mixtape DJ, it's hard not to Envy.
