Big Boi Talks Crooks & Castles Line, New Album and Pimp C Hologram

Big Boi has been hard at work on his second solo album, Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. He has already created buzz with his two singles—“She Said OK” ft. Theophilus London and “Gossip” ft. Big K.R.I.T. and UGK. It's been two years since Sir Lucious Left Foot, and in a recent interview with GQ UK General Patton disclosed what he's been up to.

First off, Big Boi discussed releasing his own sock line with Crooks & Castles which will be coming soon in the Atlanta area. Then he went on about his new album.

"It's coming good... the fans are excited. On the new album I've got Kid Cudi and Little Dragon. I just did a cut with A$AP Rocky the other night too, so it's action-packed."

Big Boi went on to talk about Pimp C appearing on his single, "Gossip."

"I had the verse for years. It was on another unreleased record that I had from Organized Noize and it just matched up perfectly. I was already getting Bun B on there and just to put Pimp C on there made it turn out great."

GQ UK then asked Big Boi about his thoughts on a Pimp C hologram.

"I don't know. We're trying to figure it out right now how we're going to do the video. We're going to do something creative. That Tupac hologram was spooky… but dope."

Imagine "International Players Anthem" being done with a Pimp C hologram that shared the stage with Bun B, 3 Stacks, and Big Boi... that would be dope.
