Chris Brown lucked out after getting arrested for assaulting a man in Washington D.C. this weekend, allegedly leaving the man with a broken nose.
In court earlier today (10/18), the judge reduced Breezy's assault charge from a felony to a misdemeanor, letting the singer off the hook. Brown is ordered to stay 100 feet away from the victim and has been court mandated to take a drug test.
Since the original police report stated that Brown’s bodyguard threw the first punch, it resulted in the judge lessening the charge.
The story was that Brown was taking a photo with two ladies when he got "photobombed" by a group of guys. C. Breezy then reportedly said “I’m not down with that gay s**t, I’m into boxing,” and then proceeded to punch one of the guys in his grill.
There was so much controversy over this issue because Brown is still on probation from the Rihanna beating incident that happened in 2009.
In simpler terms, YOU GOT LUCKY, BRO!
Did we mention that Trey Songz was also at the court hearing to support his fellow singing celeb bro? Weird.

Let's see if Breezy tweets anything else as the week goes on. Knowing him, he probably will.
