According to police officials, 26-year-old Dquay Means (a.k.a Quay Meanz) and 25-year-old Michael Paranay, both of Hazelwood, PA, have been arrested for the attempted car robbery and stabbing of Steeler's player Mike Adams. Luckily, Adams,23, is currently in stable condition and is set to return to the field in six weeks.
Both Means and Dquay were captured due to the help of a near-by surveillance camera, catching the incident on tape that occurred early Saturday morning. "Quay Meanz" is being charged with criminal attempt homicide, aggravated assault, attempted carjacking, former convict not to possess a firearm, terroristic threats, criminal conspiracy and escape. His partner, Michael Parney, is looking at one count of criminal attempt homicide, one count of aggravated assault, and one count of criminal conspiracy.
The head coach of the Steelers, Mike Tomlin, gave a statement about his player's injury. Tomlin said “I visited with him a couple days this weekend,” Tomlin said. “He’s got great team support, family support. We expect a full recovery. He realizes how fortunate he is. We’re just glad he’s going to be OK.”
