Florida Teen Gunned Down For Playing "Loud Hip-Hop"
47-year-old Florida resident Michael Dunn drove past 17-year-old Jordan Davis, who was playing Hip-Hop music loudly in his SVU, and automatically felt "threatened" as they both pulled into the same gas station. Dunn apparently told his girlfriend, Rhonda Rouer, that he hated "thug music."
Dunn's girlfriend entered the convenience store in the gas station, leaving her boyfriend in the car, when she heard loud gunshots from inside. As she came outside, she witnessed Dunn putting his gun into the glove compartment. He admitted to "firing shots" at the boy's car because he felt threatened.
As they fled the scene, the couple later found out that the shots Dunn fired left Jordan Davis dead in his car.
Unfortunately due to Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law, this situation will most-likely turn into a Trayvon Martin/ George Zimmerman case part two.
May all the families of these slain teenagers due to racial profiling one day get the closure and justice they deserve.
