Too many times celebrities get the worst reputations, and only the negative is magnified. Well...in positive news, Roc Nation star J. Cole and G.O.O.D. Music alum, Big Sean were in the Bay area in California giving back to the youth on Wednesday at the first-ever We Day California, the largest youth empowerment event, at Oakland’s Oracle Arena.
The rappers pitched in alongside actors and entertainers Seth Rogen, Selena Gomez, Magic Johnson, and Orlando Bloom to inspire 16,000 youth from over 400 schools across California to take action on local and global causes.
Big Sean hit the stage to perform his empowering track “Nothing Is Stopping You” and “Beware”. Sean sharing with audience, “Karma is real. How you act and treat people will come back to you,” said the Detroit MC. The festivities closed out with J. Cole, rocking out with self-love anthem, "Crooked Smile".
