If you're an iPhone user, you're fully aware that the smartphone is a hot commodity out here in these streets. Being that it's a hot commodity, I'm sure you've heard horror stories of users walking down the streets or commuting via the subway, only to have their phones snatched out of their possession by a thief!

In NYC, police and everyone else are very familiar with Apple's 'Find My iPhone' function to help track down your phone. If the party who lost their phone quickly gets on the case, the app can help locate the stolen phone in no time. However, a new flaw in the feature could allow the thief to disable, and make tracks with someone else's phone!

9to5 is currently putting Iphone users on game, and alerting them to the fact that with a few minor steps on a hacker's part, could allow the iPhone to be disabled, and the users' iCloud account can be deleted. Which would leave the actual user SOL,and without their beloved gadget.
