Looks like 66 year old late night TV show host, David Letterman is finally saying good bye to his long standing late-night talk he just announced his plans for retirement.

Having had the longest running late night talk show in history, Letterman made the announcement during the taping of his show Thursday in New York, telling the audience his last show will take place in 2015. The iconic host shared with audience he's turning 67 and wants to spend more time with his family. He told fans he would be retiring in 1 to 2 years. Starting his career in late nigh talk at the age of 34, Letterman believes that after donating half his life to TV, its time to bow out gracefully.
