On Monday evening on LHHATL, watchers were forced to lay witness to the harsh effects of cyber bullying, and its psychological effects on the human psyche.

Mother to rapper Wocka Flocka, as well as known industry manager Debra Antney discussed a recent tragedy that was near in dear to her heart. Back in December she lost her younger son, Kayo Redd at the hands of suicide, due to harmful internet insults. Obviously the young man was going through a very difficult period in his life, and the strain of the negativity of the internet slander only added insult to injury for the wounded soul.

Deb visited local ATL radio station 94.5 to spread awareness to her new movement, No Reckless Internet Posting (No R.I.P.). Antney states during interview,

“When you gossip and spread rumors and recklessly post about people’s lives, you are speaking death – killing their spirits, killing their reputations, killing their relationships, killing their hope and so much more."

With technology rapidly growing, and more social media platforms popping up, one things for sure, some thing has to be done about the negativity and bullying taking place online. Do you think cyber bullying has gone too far?
