Sad news to report. Casey Kasem, the original voice of the American Top 40 countdown died early Sunday morning, after being taken off life support late last week. The famous voice of radio, who was also the voice of Shaggy in hit cartoon 'Scooy Doo', died after suffering from Parkinson's Disease and dementia.

Kasem's family had been at odds for a while, specifically after wife Jean Kasem moved ailing husband to a convalescent home in Santa Monica a few months ago. Casey Kaseem was huge fixture within radio, stemming all the way back to 1970 when he founded the "AT 40" radio franchise, and famously hosted the show all the way up until 2004. Kasem did several other spin offs but later retired from radio completedly in 2009.

TMZ reports

"He was also very famous for voicing cartoon voices like Shaggy from "Scooby-Doo" ... and Robin on "Super Friends." He was inducted into the National Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 1985.

Casey's illness was marked by a bitter war between Jean and Casey's three children from his previous marriage. The kids claimed Jean blocked them from seeing Casey for several months.

Earlier in the week Kerri took her dad off of all life support including nutrition."

We hope Kasem's family is able to work through their family issues, and give the icon his proper due. Casey Kasem's contribution to radio and his impact on the culture will never be forgotten.

Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, these two designers reinterpret joke cartier replica Paris signs a single product: shirts, short paragraph coat, French stripes - usually its bold combinations, to create a strong visual impact. As elegant grid pattern hublot replica casual sweaters, wide-leg trousers with polka dots. Crisp white rolex replica shirt, parachute nylon jacket and black trousers wide mouth. And through them the Eiffel Tower dior replica and the Statue of Liberty pattern was even more pronounced Gallic French theme.
