Newcomer Iggy Azalea is definitely in good company these days, and is on the fast track to stardom. T.I. stopped Big Boy's radio show, and discussed his upcoming album as well as the recent success of Aussie protege Iggy Azalea.

During the course of the interview, T.I.

recounts meeting Iggy Azalea for the first time, and how he got put on to her music through a comrade T.I. also talks about knowing that Iggy would blow, and how she had the star quality to make it big. Coining her it factor as " killer instinct" . Iggy who is currently signed to Island Record, was initially signed by Grand Hustle back in 2012, but is obviously still heavily affiliated with Grand Hustle family and it's frontman.

T.I. on Iggy during interview,

"I knew that with the proper planning and execution the sky was the limit for her," he said when asked about Iggy. "She has a killer instinct, kind of like a 'if you like me or not I'm going to make it' so you can see it now or kick yourself in the ass later. That's called star shit, that's superstar shit. People like me in the business, I guess the gatekeepers or the leaders of the new school, those who accept the responsibility of sighting talent and when we see it it's our job to recognize it and to package it appropriately and that's just what we took the time to do correctly."
