MTV Moves Foward with Marc Ecko’s “Getting Up” Movie
So Silent Hill will be in the movies this friday and it packs a $45 mil. production price tag with it. Hopefully it does well in the box office so that more video game movies can be WELL DONE, and not end up a hot mess like BloodRayne. Anyway our favorite game of the moment is Marc Ecko’s “Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure.” MTV Films and Paramount Pictures have just hired Sean O’Keefe and Will Staples to adapt the video game into a hot ass movie. No word on who the director will be or if Talib Kweli will play the lead character. Talib was the voice of lead character, Trane, in the video game. But I don’t know if he has any acting skills. Our vote is for Rick Gonzalez from Coach Carter to play the lead character. He has the look and isn’t that bad of an actor in urban type roles.
