It’s time to celebrate Black History Month with Hot 97. We’re making Black History Month bigger and better to keep the conversation going. We need to continue making advances for the black community.

Each week throughout the month, we’ll post a powerful discussion led by some of the most inspiring African American leaders who are making history now. We have 5 virtual events that are completely free to attend and you can re-watch on-demand.

Join luminaries Busta Rhymes, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Jemele Hill, Rotimi, Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, and Queen Naija as they address the most relevant issues facing the Black community. Exclusive panels will highlight how Future Black Leaders are making a difference to the Black experience through their ingenuity across politics, sports and entertainment, and business. Fresh episodes drop every Thursday at 7 pm with a special bonus episode on Tuesday the 23rd. Check out the full schedule below.

Thursday, February 4 – 7 pm – Vaccine 101

Your Questions and your concerns answered by Dr. Anthony Fauci and one of the vaccine creators, Dr. Kizzmekia Corbett. Together, they will answer your questions about the COVID vaccine and talk about the effects COVID has had on the black community.

Thursday, February 11 – 7 pm – Black Men Rise

Figuring out what you wan t to do is hard enough, finding the right path to make it happen may seem impossible. This is especially true for the African American Man. Hear relatable stories from Busta Rhymes, Rotimi, and Mysoone to help you find your path to success. These guys did it, you can too!

Thursday, February 18 – 7 pm – Black in Business

A can’t-miss educational event for African American entrepreneurs about how black-owned businesses have been affected by the devastating impacts of COVID-19. From having to pivot your business to stay afloat or develop a new product or service to meet the needs of the “new normal”, learn how black-owned businesses can become more resilient as we move into the future.

Tuesday, February 23 – 7 pm – Black Girl Magic

This discussion will celebrate the unique awesomeness of black women and their accomplishments. Hear from visionaries Jemele Hill, Tamika Mallory, and more about how black women do not just preserve, they rise.

Thursday, February 25 – 7 pm – Master Class with Michael Eric Dyson
