Five years ago I successfully lost 100 pounds in 6 and 1/2 months by attending Body by Denise fitness classes and learning how to eat healthy from the instructor, Denise Warren. Over the years, I have been able to keep off my weight by eating right and working out but I have gained weight, as we all gain weight, due to life changes and stressful life circumstances. I have become a running coach since my weight loss and I hold my own races through my organization, We Run, Inc. but even though I am a coach, I am human, and everyone has setbacks in life. However, summer is approaching and the time is now to get my unhealthy weight off. For the next 12 weeks I am challenging myself and YOU to get your body and health right by the time summer begins. So not only can you feel great on the inside but you can look hot with your summer looks and outfits. With the Hotstyle Summer Slimdown Weight Loss Challenge, I will be detailing my workouts, eating regimen, and offering health tips to help you on your journey as I blog about my quest to lose 25 pounds and get my body back from when I initially lost my weight (see pic below).
