Lil Nat is HOT 97’s newest full-time addition to the air staff, holding down the late night shift every weekday from 2-6 AM. Saying Nat (short for Natalie) paid her dues is an understatement.
Natalie Barrington started her radio career at NYU’s radio station 89.1FM WNYU. In 1994 while at NYU, Natalie interned at sister station 98.7KISSfm in the promotions department. By 1996 she received an internship at HOT 97 in the Production Department. The following year Natalie began a part time shift as a phone operator and a board operator on Funkmaster Flex's show. Later that year, Natalie began part time production for 98.7 KISS fm moving up to assistant morning show producer for Isaac Hayes and Friends in 1998. In 1999, Natalie received a promotion to Commercial Production Director which she held down for close to 8 years.
Lil Nat’s done On-air stints with stations in Long Island and Albany so when the opening for an overnight personality at HOT 97 came up, this Brooklyn native swooped in and a temporary slot became permanent. Tune in and catch Lil’ Nat “The Overnight Queen” holding it down from 2-6 AM on HOT 97, Where Hip Hop Lives.
