Whether on radio, on television, or in magazine, Miss Info is making a blend of wit, news, and good ol' gossip her multi-media trademark. After leaving her hometown Chicago, this longtime Harlemite started grinding as a hip hop journalist, contributing to every important music magazine out, including XXL, Vibe, Rolling Stone, Blender, Ego Trip and King. As a television scriptwriter, Miss Info reported for MTV News and wrote the hit show "The Fabulous Life of Hip Hop Superstars" for VH1. Two years ago, she discovered a whole new voice at New York's Official #1 For Hip Hop and R&B, HOT 97, and brought her "Celebrity Drama" gossip report to life for the listeners.
Info is a regular castmember of VH1's top-rated weekly pop-culture show "Best Week Ever," has appeared on Ego Trip's "Race-o-Rama" series, and is launching her own monthly advice column, "Ask Miss Info" in Vibe Magazine. This July, Miss Info publishes her first book, the colorful hip hop fashion history book, Bling Bling: Hip Hop's Crown Jewels, on Rolling Stone/Hyperion Press. While counting the number of diamonds on Lil Jon's molars may seem like glamorous work, this Korean-American insists she doesn't bathe in Cristal, nor smoke sticky-icky with reformed pimps. Miss Info does, however, admit to overpaying for shoes.
Keep up for Miss Info's famous (and infamous) dish every Saturday from 8am-12noon and her "Celebrity Drama" report every Monday through Thursday night on the Funkmaster Flex show between 7-9pm
