On air, online, in print, and everywhere at once, Miss Info breaks down hip hop gossip and hip hop news on HOT97 with credibility and razor- sharp wit. As the HOT97 News Director, she speaks to two-million listeners every hour with her news segment and then dishes out the Miss Info Celebrity Drama report every night on the top- rated Funkmaster Flex Show.

 

Originally hailing from Chicago, Illinois, Info started her career in New York City as a writer and editor for the biggest music magazines, including The Source, Vibe, XXL, Rolling Stone, and more. Her hip hop knowledge was then enlisted by MTV and VH1 where she wrote and produced for MTV News, and VH1’s “The Fabulous Life...”. Miss Info is regularly featured as a pop culture personality for VH1 (“100Best”, “Best Week Ever,” “All Access”), MTV, BET and more. In 2005, Miss Info wrote the hip hop fashion book “Bling Bling: Hip Hop’s Crowd Jewels” (Rolling Stone/Wenner Books) and she has appeared in the New York Times, Glamour Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and more.

 

In 2007, Info created the blog, MissInfo.tv, featuring breaking news and exclusive interviews with everyone from Mary J Blige, Kanye West, 50 Cent and more. MissInfo.Tv has been named one of the best blogs on the web by Entertainment Weekly, Vibe Magazine and XXL.
